Frequently asked

Is the data really self-hosted?

Yes. Your tools, logs, and every byte of tool traffic stay on your WordPress site. GetMCP never proxies, samples, or telemeters your tool calls — we have no way to see them, by design.

Do you charge per request?

No. The license is a flat annual fee — request volume is entirely yours. Whether your server handles a hundred calls a day or a million, the price doesn't change and there are no metered surprises.

Do I need a separate staging environment?

No. AI clients connect to a server URL, not an environment — so you can build and test new tools on your live site, leave them disabled, and flip them on for users only once you're confident they behave the way you want.

Can I cancel?

Yes, the plugin keeps running. But the license is what keeps your server spec-current — protocol changes, transport deprecations, and client handshake updates all ship through plugin updates and support, and without it a server that worked yesterday can quietly stop being callable tomorrow.
