A ready-made GetMCP server: import the file, add your own key and ask. How to import it
Add four post ideas for November, one a week, for Instagram.
Tool call: list_records table=Content
Tool call: create_record table=Content
Added four records to Content:
- 3 Nov: Behind the scenes at the roastery
- 10 Nov: Three ways to use the new blend
- 17 Nov: Customer story, Bluebird Bakery
- 24 Nov: A first look at the gift box
Each one has a first draft in the Caption field.
What changes
The work is the same. Where you do it moves from a row of tabs to one conversation.
Before
- Brainstorm in one place, plan in another
- Type every idea into Airtable by hand
- Check which weeks are still empty
- Chase captions the day before posting
After
- Ideas go straight into your base
- Claude fills in dates, channels and a first caption
- Ask which weeks are empty
- Update a record by asking
Things you can ask
Copy one into Claude once the server is connected.
- Add four post ideas for November, one a week.
- What's planned for next week?
- Which posts have no caption yet?
- Move the gift box post to 1 December.
- Mark the roastery post as published.
- Which channel has the fewest posts this month?
Set it up
Works with any Airtable base. You need an Airtable personal access token for that base.
Skip the setup: import the ready-made server
- Download the file.
- In GetMCP, open Servers, click Import and choose the file.
- Add an Airtable personal access token: keys go in the server's Authentication tab, anything else in its connection variables.
- Switch on the Gateway and connect Claude to it. To connect to the server's own address instead, create an access key for it first.
Or build it yourself:
-
Create a server and install the Airtable template
It adds tools to list, create and update records.
-
Add your personal access token
Create one in Airtable with read and write access to your content base, and add it to the server.
-
Tell Claude about your table
Say once which table and fields you use, such as Content with Date, Channel, Idea and Caption.
-
Turn on the Gateway and connect Claude
Switch on the Gateway in GetMCP, then add your Gateway address to Claude, ChatGPT or Manus as a custom connector and sign in.

The tools on this server
What Claude can call on this server. Leave the tools that change data switched off until you trust the setup.
| Tool | What it does | Changes data |
|---|---|---|
| list_records | Reads records from a table, with a filter if you want one | No |
| create_record | Adds a record | Yes |
| update_record | Changes fields on a record | Yes |
Questions about this setup
Can Claude delete records?
No. This template lists, adds and updates records only.
Will it use my field names?
Yes. It reads your records first, so it sees your fields and writes into the same ones.
Can I use more than one base?
Yes. Create a server for each base, and the Gateway puts them behind one address.
