Give a store client an assistant that knows their orders
Build a server for a client's WooCommerce store so their team can ask about orders, products and customers from Claude. Put it under your agency's brand with White Label and offer it as your service.
- Who it's for
- Agencies with store clients
- Apps
- WooCommerce

- Built with
- Starts from the WooCommerce template
A ready-made GetMCP server: import the file, add your own key and ask. How to import it
Which orders from this week are still on hold?
Tool call: list_orders status=on-hold
Three orders are on hold:
- #1043, Priya Raman, paid by bank transfer
- #1047, Tom Field, waiting on stock
- #1050, Ana Ortiz, address check
Want me to mark any of them as processing?
What changes
The work is the same. Where you do it moves from a row of tabs to one conversation.
Before
- The client's team emails you to look up an order
- Someone signs in to the store just to check stock
- Status changes wait until you have a minute
- Every request lands on your desk
After
- The client's team asks Claude directly
- Orders, stock and customers are one question away
- Status changes happen when they ask
- You maintain the server, not the inbox
Things you can ask
Copy one into Claude once the server is connected.
- Which orders from this week are still on hold?
- Mark order 1043 as processing.
- Which products are out of stock?
- Who are our top ten customers this year?
- What did Priya Raman order last time?
- How many orders came in yesterday?
Set it up
One server per store, on your GetMCP install. You need a WooCommerce REST API key from the client's store.
Skip the setup: import the ready-made server
- Download the file.
- In GetMCP, open Servers, click Import and choose the file.
- Add the store's domain and a WooCommerce REST API key: keys go in the server's Authentication tab, anything else in its connection variables.
- Switch on the Gateway and connect Claude to it. To connect to the server's own address instead, create an access key for it first.
Or build it yourself:
-
Create a server for the client and install the WooCommerce template
Set the store's domain once. The template adds five tools for products, orders and customers.
-
Add the store's API key
In WooCommerce, create a REST API key with the access the client needs, and add it to the server.
-
Put it under your brand
With White Label, the client sees your name, logo and colours.
-
Give the client their server's address
Their team adds it to Claude, ChatGPT or Manus and signs in.

The tools on this server
What Claude can call on this server. Leave the tools that change data switched off until you trust the setup.
| Tool | What it does | Changes data |
|---|---|---|
| list_products | Lists products with their price and stock | No |
| list_orders | Lists orders, filtered by status or date | No |
| get_order | Opens one order with its items and customer | No |
| update_order_status | Changes an order's status, such as to processing or completed | Yes |
| list_customers | Lists customers | No |
Questions about this setup
Can the client's team break anything?
Only update_order_status changes data. Switch it off if the team should only look things up.
Do I need White Label?
No. The server works without it. White Label puts your brand on GetMCP when you offer it as your own service.
Where does the store's data go?
From the client's store, through the GetMCP install you run, to the AI app their team uses. You choose where GetMCP runs.
