Ready-made server from the SuiteDash API

A ready-made GetMCP server: import the file, add your own key and ask. How to import it

Claudeyour-site.com/mcp

Add Priya Raman from Bluebird Bakery as a lead, priya@example.com.

Tool call: create_contact role=Lead

Added Priya Raman as a lead. Want me to invite her to the client portal?

Not yet. And move the Northwind website project to In review.

Tool call: get_project type=contains_the_following identifier=Northwind

Tool call: update_project type=uid status="In review"

Northwind website is now In review, due 14 November.

What changes

The work is the same. Where you do it moves from a row of tabs to one conversation.

Before

  • Open SuiteDash to check whether someone is already a contact
  • Type each new lead in by hand
  • Click into every project to change its status
  • Keep a separate list of what ends this month

After

  • Ask whether someone is a contact and get the answer in the chat
  • New leads go in from the conversation
  • Project statuses change when you say so
  • Ask which projects end this month

Things you can ask

Copy one into Claude once the server is connected.

  • Is priya@example.com already a contact?
  • Add Tom Field as a prospect, tom@example.com.
  • Which projects end this month?
  • Move the Northwind website project to In review.
  • Update Harbor Dental's phone number to 555 0100.
  • Which companies did we add in October?

Set it up

Import the ready-made server above, or ask Claude to build it from SuiteDash's API docs. Either way you need SuiteDash admin access to create the keys.

Skip the setup: import the ready-made server

  1. Download the file.
  2. In GetMCP, open Servers, click Import and choose the file.
  3. Add your SuiteDash secret key and Public ID: keys go in the server's Authentication tab, anything else in its connection variables.
  4. Switch on the Gateway and connect Claude to it. To connect to the server's own address instead, create an access key for it first.

Or build it yourself:

  1. Get your SuiteDash keys

In SuiteDash, open Integrations, then Secure API. Copy your Public ID and add a secret key.

  2. Connect Claude to GetMCP

Add GetMCP's own address to Claude once and sign in. Claude can now build servers for you.

  3. Ask Claude to build the SuiteDash server

Share SuiteDash's API docs and say what you want to do. Claude creates the server and its tools.

  4. Add the keys and test

Put the secret key in the server's Authentication tab and send the Public ID as an X-Public-ID header. Test a tool, then switch it on.

What you ask Claude

Using GetMCP, create a server called Clients for SuiteDash. I want to list, find, add and update contacts, list and find companies, and list, find and update projects. Here are the API docs: https://app.suitedash.com/secure-api/swagger

Created Clients with 9 tools. They're saved as drafts. Add your SuiteDash secret key and Public ID in GetMCP, then test them.

Questions about this setup

How many questions can I ask?

SuiteDash counts API calls per month: 400 on Start, 2,000 on Thrive and 20,000 on Pinnacle. Most questions take one to three calls, so the higher plans suit daily use.

Can Claude send portal invitations?

Only when it adds a contact with the welcome email switched on, and the server tells Claude to ask you first.

Can it create projects or tasks?

Not yet. SuiteDash's API can list, read and update projects but not create them, and it has no task or message endpoints.

Is SuiteDash's API on my plan?

The Secure API is part of SuiteDash. Super Admins and Admins create the keys under Integrations, Secure API.
